Technology Integration in the Art Classroom

Technology integration with an environment for K-12 it is imperative that we have technology at our fingertips because we would hold back those little minds in the past and not to the present and future. It helps students process information, and it has become almost second nature to us. No matter the form of tool such as a smartphone, gaming console or tablet they’re almost appendages (another arm) on us and with us at all times. We must keep up with the changes that happen with technology because it changes every second or millisecond it seems.

Successful technology integration would be providing both the teacher and students with the tools such a smartphone, tablet and/or laptop in and outside the classroom. These tools can help with accessing current events, used for researching for assignments, working with others, publishing new ideas with other students and teachers. The list can continue with the good things about technology integration.

I think by just adding one tool in a classroom would be good, but I don’t see with our lives as it is that a school couldn’t at least have the tools already in the classrooms and the in the teachers and students' hands already. The pandemic pushed it on to everyone.

Presentation

The first way technology can help with classroom is by creating presentations using power point and voice over. This presentation was created about the artist Deborah Butterfield. I am a fan of her incredible work and horses. I hope that you enjoy learning about this artist.
